Hayward ProGrid series diatomite filters are the most effective solution for water purification in home and public swimming pools. They guarantee water filtration with a fineness of up to 2-5 microns and reduce chemical consumption by 50-70%. Hayward ProGrid DE7220 is made of reinforced polyester and is designed to operate in conditions of UV and humidity. The filter is based on a module made of a nylon mesh system. To fill the filtration module, diatomite backfill is used, which covers the mesh and provides the highest quality water filtration possible. The SP0715XR50E tap is purchased separately. It is not recommended to treat water with algaecides based on quaternary ammonium salts PHMB and flocculants when using diatomite filters.
