The AquaRite Basic Flo automatic chlorine generator is a new product from the French manufacturer Hayward. It is used for sterilization and disinfection of private swimming pools. The device operates on the cyclic principle of converting salt into free chlorine. The chlorine produced prevents the growth of algae, microbes, and bacteria in the pool water. It features an LED indicator of chlorine production level.
