The Hayward False Start Kit is signaling equipment. Signals athletes about a false start.
The signs are set at a distance of 15 m from the start. A special cable with floats is pulled between the uprights. With the help of a special mechanism, in the event of a false start, the cable is unhooked from the rack and covers all the lanes in the pool. The maximum cable length is 12.5 meters.
