Operating guidelines

The equipment is designed for clean water and does not replace drainage pumps. Please observe the following rules:

  • Sand is a strong abrasive. Suction of a small amount of sand is acceptable, but it accelerates component wear.
  • Simultaneous suction of large accumulations of sand or dirt (especially during pool opening after winter) blocks the impeller, leads to overheating and subsequent motor burnout, and voids the warranty.
  • If the pool is heavily contaminated, vacuum the debris with a manual pool cleaner using slow movements, and make sure to set the filter to the Waste mode so the dirt goes directly to the drain.
