Waterco EcoPure glass sand is a filter media that is used as a replacement for quartz sand in filtration applications. Evenly distributes the water flow and reliably prevents small fractions of the filter media from washing out into the pool. Made in England. It is made of glass by special processing. Glass has special bactericidal properties.
If used properly, sand does not need to be replaced even after 10 years.
